Cannes Water Symposium 2011

Occurring every year in the Palais des Festivals of Cannes, the Symposium gathers every year more than 3 000 participants all actions taken into account from 78 different nationalities.

Since it was created in 1999, le the Cannes Water Symposium has been an international platform of meeting and exchange between political decision-makers, professionals and academics, all of them being specialized in the field of water, environment and sustainable development.

The Cannes Water Symposium deals about several different activities such as scientific workshops, vocational training seminars, Business Meeting, conferences, business meetings, visit of facilities, general public animations and evenings of official reception for professionals.

The UNESCO, the United Nations University, the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis and the City of Cannes which are the co-founders of the Mediterranean UNITWIN, UNESCO and United Nations network on the water resources, sustainable development and peace, are participating to our international event.
