Aim of the present project would be the assessment of traditional passive techniques of irrigation based on atmospheric humidity harvest, which were used indifferent countries of the Mediterranean Basin and the Atlantic coast of Africa. That assessment would take into account the local climate conditions in order to evaluate precisely the efficiency of these techniques of humidity harvest. Further the project aims to formulate appropriate policies and accompanying measures assuring the propagation of that sustainable techniques which consitute a low cost possibility of valorisation and environmentally sound sustainable exploitation of numerous coastal and arid areas of the Mediterranean Basin and the Atlantic coasts of Africa.* Present proposal has been corrected according the reargues of the evaluators
