The 2nd Meeting of ISARM (Internationally Shared Aquifer Resources Management) IGAD (Intergovernmental Authority on Development) will bring together policy makers, parliamentarians and technical experts from the IGAD Member States who will make decisions on the establishment of the Technical Committee for Transboundary Aquifers in IGAD and the Terms of Reference of such a Committee as well as identify and prioritize transboundary projects to be undertaken. The policy aspects will also be discussed and the modality for the adoption of the International Law on Transboundary Aquifers within the IGAD framework.
