The Conference will contain two complementary sections. The first section will deal with water and deltatechnology for Delft and its inhabitants. Special focus will be given to spatial planning, environment/climate and economy.



The second section will have a strong national and international focus. The Netherlands has a strong global position in water and delta-technology. Effective cooperation between researchinstitutes can further strengthen this position. In what way this cooperation can be stimulated will be the central question in the several workshops.



The third Delft Water Conference is an activity of Delft Blue Technology, a cooperation between the Delfland Waterboard, Deltares, Delft Technical University, TNO, UNESCO-IHE and Delft Municipality.
