AquaTerra Final Conference
AquaTerra
Wed, 25/03/2009 / Fri, 27/03/2009
Since summer 2004, the EU Integrated Project AquaTerra unites the research of 45 partners in Europe to provide the scientific basis for an improved river basin management. The project aims at a better understanding of the river-sediment-soil-ground-water system as a whole, by integrating both natural and socio-economics aspects at different temporal and spatial scales. The intention of this final conference is to discuss the state-of-knowledge and to give directions and incentives for future research.
The Integrated Project "AquaTerra" finally finishes after 5 years research of 45 partners in Europe with an international conference on the scientific fundamentals for river basin management.
