Grupo de Trabajo sobre Nutrientes del Río Mississippi/Cuenca del Golfo de México, Estados Unidos
Tue, 07/11/2006 / Thu, 09/11/2006
This symposium is the fourth in a series of symposiums sponsored by the Mississippi River/Gulf of Mexico Watershed Nutrient Task Force. The symposia are part of the reassessment of the Action Plan for Reducing, Controlling, and Mitigating Hypoxia in the Northern Gulf of Mexico.
This symposium will focus on recent scientific findings about the sources, transport, and fate of nutrients in the Mississippi and Atchafalaya River Basins in the United States. Key topics will be addressed at various scales from small watersheds to large rivers, including the effects of these processes on nutrient delivery to the Gulf of Mexico.
