Considerable progress is being made in implementing and delivering catchment management with developments across many areas of water- and land-use practices. The aim of this conference is to gain a better understanding of these developments at both a national and catchment scale and look at the emerging themes that still need to be resolved.
The objectives of this meeting are to review and communicate progress made on a number of fronts and debate emerging challenges including:
• National policy and programmes: Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), the Environment Agency (EA), Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland (DoENI), Natural England, Water Industry
• Look at case studies showing how integration and delivery works at a catchment scale
• Highlight themes and emerging challenges that require resolution.
