In 2001 the Centro de Estudos de Águas (CEA) organized the 1st International Water Conference (IWC2001) that gathered scientists, technicians and students interested in Water and its usage. The success of IWC2001 has motivated CEA to promote the 2nd International Water Conference - IWC2006 - that we are now pleased to announce.
CEA develops its activity in the field of water usage and treatment to fulfil private and public companies' needs. CEA also performs research, technology development and training within its competence area.
