Abstracts are being sought until February 1, 2006, for presentation at the knowledge- and capacity-building workshops to be held during the 2006 World Water Week in Stockholm. ''Beyond the River – Sharing Benefits and Responsibilities'' is the theme of the week, which takes place August 20-26, 2006, and will address livelihood improvement, land-based activities within a river basin, and society's ability to cope with natural disasters will be among the aspects.
