International Symposium on "Ground Water Hydraulics in Complex Environments", (Heterogeneous Media, Coupled Processes, and Upscaling)

International Association of Hydraulic Engineering and Research (IAHR)

Mon, 12/06/2006 / Fri, 16/06/2006

The purpose of the Conference is to bring hydro-geologists, geologists, hydrologists and hydraulic engineers dealing with naturally complex and coupled subsurface flow and transport problems, together with scientists and engineers focused on fluid dynamics and porous media modeling. The Conference will provide a forum for a dialog and exchange of ideas, which will enhance the ability of different groups of scientists to better describe and understand coupled flow and transport processes, or more generally multi-physics problems, in heterogeneous media and complex environments. The Conference also aims at promoting the dialog between researchers and practicing engineers and scientists worldwide.
