New system of saving water

A new system for conserving water was displayed at a meeting in Khersonissos, Iraklio Prefecture, on the Greek island of Crete. French businessman Etienne Kanovas, a permanent resident of Ammoudara, exhibited a toilet-flushing mechanism that only uses 33-50% of the water required by a conventional toilet. In a single tourist season, he said, a 100-room hotel uses 504,000-840,000 liters of water in its bathrooms, whereas with the new toilets, it would need less than 252,000 liters.
