This analysis was developed within the framework of the UNDP/GEF project ‘Development and Implementation of the Lake Peipsi/Chudskoe Basin Management Programme’. The overall objective of the analysis was to identify and assess the relative importance of environmental disturbances and threats to the waters and their causes, and to identify potential preventive and remedial actions including the definition of environmental quality objectives.
