Many countries in Latin America and the Caribbean are changing their legislation and organizations related with the management of the hydric resources. The Chilean Water Law is becoming a model. In some countries, the laws has been a perfecto copy of this legislation. However the problems of its application nor are mentioned neither the debate in Chile about its modification.
