The objective of this document is to present the main results of the works of investigation that the Geologic and Mining Institute of Spain (IGME) has been making for 35 years, on the aquifers of the Mountain range of Gádor, with special reference to the part of this well-known set like Aquifers of the Field of Dalías. It is tried with it to transmit to all the society the advances in the knowledge on these aquifers, whose great social and economic importance for the region of the Almeria West, and for the province of Almeria, locates them as one of the most remarkable of the Mediterranean.
