Permeable Reactive Barriers

[Permeable Reactive Barriers]

To meet the growing challenge of groundwater pollution we need to look beyond traditional methods of clean up to "alternative" technologies. Permeable reactive barriers (PRBs) have had success in the remediation of chlorinated solvent contaminated ground–waters and are now recognised for the treatment of other contaminants, both inorganic and organic. Innovations in the field and the long-term performance of PRBs are the focus of this volume.
