This document of practical consultation is the result of three seminars of open, transparent and participative character (which are comprised in “Series of seminars on water”), that congregated hundreds of "parts interested" in the topic of the water in order to debate the expositions and instruments available for the application of the Frame Directive of the water in the European Union (DMA). This new and ambitious legislation took effect at the end of 2000, laying the foundations for a sustainable use of the hydric resources in all Europe.
