Initially some concepts on the reuse of residual waters are described along with an analysis of treatment situation in Spain. Later, it shows the importance of the quality of residual water in relation toits possible uses, analyzing the project of regulation of the reuse in Spain. Finally it comments on the aspects of costs and safety measures associated to the reuse.
