Description of the participation of the World Bank, through one of its organisms of cooperation, International Finance Corporation (IFC), as member of Illimani´s Waters, concessionary company of drinkable water distribution and sanitary sewerage in the cities of La Paz and El Alto (Bolivia), analyzing the implications and risks involved for a transparent and pro-poor (orientated to the poor) strategy of drinkable water management.
