This one-day event will be attended by more than 25,000 women who campaign for water and sanitation in their villages. As a part of the WWD event, postcards will be issued to school children to create awareness and instil a habit of handwashing with soap. Another 25,000 postcards were printed for circulation among the women participants, highlighting the importance of the construction and use of toilets to maintain environmental sanitation in rural areas.
