This session will provide the opportunity to discuss the challenges that decision makers and especially legislators, are facing for the approval and application of the water reforms that are taking place in their countries. It will show their contribution to create effective mechanisms towards good governance and IWRM, as well as the relevance of the support of other stakeholders. It will bring together legislators and senators from various countries of the Americas and show how financial, environmental and social sustainability elements are being included in the water related reforms, as solutions for good governance for IWRM in the Americas.
