Más información

The Mediterranean region faces severe water shortages and there is a growing need for re-use of treated effluents from municipal sewage treatment plants. New technologies are needed for advanced treatment and re-use of waste water. Some Mediterranean universities have developed such technologies and their transfer to municipal enterprises and hotels can be achieved through vocational training. This project will therefore develop a methodology for forecasting the training needs of municipal and hotel personnel with regard to advanced waste water treatment and re-use technologies. It will also produce corresponding training materials and tools. These products will disseminated and transferred to municipal enterprises and hotels. The main beneficiaries of the project will be: employees of municipalities and hotels; unemployed people; trainers; and designers and managers of training programmes.
