Rainwater Harvesting and Greywater Recycling

Mié, 18/11/2009 / Mié, 18/11/2009

Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) and Greywater Recycling (GWR) are two technologies that are relatively new to the UK and which have the potential to reduce both water demand and drainage.

It is the aim of this 1-day event to consider the status of RWH and GWR in the UK and to:

Examine the developments underway to establish suitable regulatory standards and consider how this is dealt with in other countries;

Examine the types of technology currently available and the whole-life costs associated with such technologies, both for new-builds and retrofits;

Examine case-studies of successful applications and perhaps more importantly show examples of what can go wrong;

Allow attendees at this event to form a clear picture of the likely future growth in this area and the potential of the technology for their own applications.
