The aim of the conference is to encourage and facilitate the interdisciplinary communication between scientists, engineers and professionals working in water management and hydraulic engineering. It considers both surface and ground water based on a basin wide approach. This conference contributes to these goals by inviting experts from Central Europe that are the members of EU as well as the experts from the South-East-Europe countries that are not yet member states. The main idea is to exchange experiences in the field of water management and hydraulic engineering including aspects of ecosystems and sustainable development.
