AWRA's 2004 Annual Conference

American Water Resources Association (AWRA)

Lun, 01/11/2004 / Jue, 04/11/2004

The American Water Resources Association's Annual Conference is a forum for all persons involved in the water resources community, and provides a forum for discussion of the many multidisciplinary aspects of water resources. Orlando, Florida is the site of this year's conference. The focus of this year's program is meeting water resources needs in growing and rapidly changing regions. Water resources in states like Florida are facing enormous pressures from population growth, difficult planning, volatile politics, rapidly changing demographics, and other dynamic externalities. The health of water resources in these areas is often the "canary in the mine" of problems and issues to come.
Water resources managers from all levels of government, consultants and academics providing the scientific and technical assistance, social scientists and attorneys trying to make the science and the legal, economic, and social issues mesh, and everyone else working hard to manage and improve our water resources are encouraged to submit abstracts. Learning from others' experiences will only enhance our abilities to manage and protect our water resources. Please join us at the 2004 AWRA Annual Water Resources Conference to share and participate in this forum of ideas and innovations!
